The camera shoots motion-triggered or time-lapse 3MP still photos at up to two frames per second, and 720p video with sound. Data plans on the Verizon LTE network start at $5 per month. The Hyperfire 2 Cellular records images onto SD, SDHC, or SDXC memory cards up to 512GB in capacity and runs on 12 user-supplied AA NiMH or lithium batteries. Included with the cam is BuckView Advanced mapping and image management software for Windows. To deter theft, Reconyx' CodeLoc Pass-Code Protection employs a four-digit code to use the cam.
